Simple day & week pricing
One box — a polypropylene hard case built for road and gravel bikes. We currently have two in the fleet, with more on the way, so it's worth booking your dates early.
Deposit is taken as a pre-authorisation on your card and released within 3 working days of return, subject to the case coming back undamaged. Courier delivery is a flat £10 each way, within a 20-mile radius of Godalming. Dimensions 133 × 94 × 50 cm, weight approx. 13 kg.

Bike Box Surrey started with a simple frustration: buying a hard case for one trip a year makes no sense, and turning up at the airport with the wrong-sized bag is worse. So we built a local hire service that does the sizing, the packing advice, and the logistics for you.
We're triathletes ourselves, and we know the particular kind of dread that comes with flying a bike to a race abroad — watching the carousel, hoping it comes out in one piece, then doing a full mechanical check before you've even found your hotel. That stress is exactly why we started Bike Box Surrey: proper, sized-right protection, so getting to the start line is one less thing to worry about.
Local hire, sized properly
Every case is checked, cleaned, and fitted with foam suited to your frame size before it goes out, and there's a real person to call if anything doesn't fit right.
Local & practical
We can arrange hire for anyone in the UK, but courier delivery itself is limited to a 20-mile radius of Godalming — roughly Guildford, Woking, Farnham, Haslemere, Cranleigh and Dorking — for £10 each way. Outside that, collection in Godalming is easiest.
Properly maintained
Every case is inspected between hires: wheels, latches, foam padding. If it's not right, it doesn't go out.

Some large or XL frames may need a little extra — occasionally one Allen bolt to remove the rear mech, and some pedals may need one or both sides off. Touring bikes can sometimes fit too, provided mudguards and luggage racks come off and the wheels are a standard 27".
